Meat
We are very proud of the quality of the muscle meats that we use in our dinners. They are the main ingredients in our recipes, followed by bone and organs. To ensure the highest quality for your pet, we buy the same high quality meat supplied to restaurants and supermarkets. We buy it whole to minimize processing in order to maintain as much nutritional content as possible. You can see the individual ingredients in our food. This is one of the most obvious visual differences between our food and many commercial raw companies.

Organs
A raw diet must contain organ meat. We provide a variety of organs from different animals in each of our dinners. Organ meats are loaded with minerals and packed with just about every nutrient including large amounts of B vitamins. Eating a variety of organ meats like liver, heart, and kidney, especially from grass fed animals, will give your dog a great boost of essential minerals.

Heart
Heart is high in taurine, which in turn is vital to proper heart function. It's important that cats get taurine in their diet to prevent a disease called dilated cardiomyopathy. Turkey and Chicken hearts have a high taurine content.
Heart also contains large amounts of CoQ10; an enzyme that helps prevent oxidative stress. Beef, venison and bison are some of the best of sources of CoQ10.

Kidneys
Kidneys have a significant amount of selenium and zinc. It also is a great source of protein, and folate.

Liver
Liver provides the largest amount of vitamin A and is also a great source of folic acid. It is recommended to not feed over 5% of liver in raw diets due to its high amount of vitamin A. Our recipes contain 5%

Bone
Bone is incredibly important in a raw diet and helps balance the calcium and phosphorus ratio; this is very important for optimal growth for puppy's. For more information on this please check out this article from Dogs Naturally Magazine. Raw bones contain essential amounts of calcium and phosphorus as well as other essential nutrients. Our recipes contain 15% bone.
